Well, Stefan I can't exactly share your enthusiasm about Ronald Reagan. In my experience, for Americans, he only helped the rich people to get richer in the 1980s...I think he was the preseident personally responsible for the widening gap between the wealthy and the poor, and the slow erosion of the middle class. Also, he was a Republican and I am a very liberal Democrat. :)

Anita, I agree with you but not quite. You, as an American, value Reagan's achievements for the USA, mainly. The USA is the most powerful contry in the world.
The American president plays a specific role in global politics. I see Regan's contributions to the whole world. In my humble opinion, President R. Reagan is one of the few people who changed the face of our world in the end XX century; in this way, he changed America, too. I will try to present my arguments at my two next journals. I met this kind of opinion which you presented in your comments. I know the Republicans political credo, they really support the rich people. On the other hand, it is interesting that exactly R. Reagan belongs to the American presidents who are the most deserved to America. The last poll showed it very exactly. I will try to write about it in my following journals.
Thank you very much for the interesting comment, which let me to express my opinion about President R. Reagan.

Hi Christina,

I welcome you in my blog. I am very happy that you interested in my journals still. It is a mark that they aren't too boring.
I will wait for your comments impatiently. I know that you are very busy, but if you find a time to read my journals, it will be high honor for me.
I see Anita and you united power in discussion regarding Regan's politics. But, I will not give up easily.I will discuss, not argue, to the bitter end (I'm sorry...but the last phrase is from a forbidden dictionary; maybe this phrase isn't correct).
Christina, I appreciate your comments. I like you very much and miss you so much.
Best regards,
Stefan, your former unruly student
