Journal 27 - The communication skills

I have just borrowed an interesting book from the East Meadow public library. The title of this book is How to talk to anyone, anytime, anywhere. The secrets of good communication by Larry King with Bill Gilbert, 1994.
The communication skills are very important in private and professional lives. Many years ago, in my country the Polish school system didn’t care about these kinds of skills. The previous political system had established that if some one stayed lower at the social hierarchy should have listened to somebody who stayed upper and had to be obedient.
Of course, I simplify that social pattern but the main idea is expressed. Right now, the situation is a totally different and the book market too. The Polish book market has released many interesting books, especially for the young people, how to communicate more confidently and effectively. Of course, these are editions translated from English to Polish, because the Polish authors only began to prepare these kinds of books.
Before the year 1989, the Polish educational system was very strict. Teachers, especially at high schools, were despotic sometimes. Right now, the situation turned on to extremely different direction. It can be a topic for a separate journal.
In the next journal, I will go back to King’s book. I am sorry that my writing isn’t coherent.
