Journal 21 - Obama promises to help poor families

Two days before Father’s Day, Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, presented a plan for lifting up poor families. This Illinois senator, as a child had little contact with his African father except occasional letters. He understands the difficulties of growing up without a father. He without support from his father had a difficult time with his mother.
Nowadays, as a presidential candidate delivered his first major speech focusing on poverty in America. He considers that problem is particularly present among African-American families, because to many black men simply cannot afford to raise a family. Obama noted that more than half of African-American children grow up in homes without two parents.

So far, I like Obama, BUT although he is saying all the "right" things, he is not saying HOW he will accomplish his goals. Even the wealthy conservatives claim to want to help the poor, but where Republicans and Democrats split is when it comes to HOW to help them and WHO is going to pay for it!
